We’ve known each other since middle school at OIS, but it wasn’t until the end of our senior year at Miramonte that we became friends—and eventually started dating. One of our fondest memories from that time was senior ball at the SF Palace Hotel, and late-night hangouts with our closest friends.

After navigating a challenging long-distance relationship during college, we eventually found our way back to each other. We got married in 2013 and recently celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary. In 2021, we welcomed a mini 'Matador-a' and are expecting another this Spring. We live in the South Bay Area, where Alex works as a lawyer and Pauline is a surgeon.

The friendships we forged at Miramonte have been some of the most meaningful in our lives and we often reunite, reminiscing about the silly memories from classes we shared together (Mr. Hunter's US history/government classes, particularly). We are so incredibly grateful that Miramonte brought us together and laid the foundation for the fortunate life we’re building together.
