In the lovely town of Orinda, where everyone seems to know each other, it’s not surprising that Charlie Wiser (class of 2013) and Genevieve Murphy (class of 2014) would eventually cross paths. They grew up together, likely brushing elbows at OMPA swim meets, Loard's Ice Cream, or cheering on teammates at OYA soccer games. However, it wasn’t until Genevieve’s junior year at Miramonte that the two really hit it off.
It was at the start of a new chapter for Genevieve when she took a bold step and asked Charlie (a senior at this time) to her junior prom, spoiler, he said yes! What started as a typical high school "thing" quickly blossomed into a wonderful relationship. Though their story began in the halls of Miramonte, their relationship grew stronger throughout the years.
Charlie and Genevieve Wiser live in New York City and have been married for nearly three years. Their journey from Orinda to the city has been filled with a lot of love, laughter, and cherished memories. They often reflect on their time at Miramonte, always finding that the simple moments bring the biggest smile, like when Charlie would walk Genevieve to her class after brunch or when Genevieve would frequently catch glances at Charlie during water polo practices. Even after all these years, their love is just as strong as ever. Genevieve jokes that, despite being married, she still has a crush on Charlie.
