Bio

Ben Campopiano is the Principal at Miramonte High School in the Acalanes Union High School District. He was hired by AUHSD in July of 2021 after serving as the Principal at Pine Hollow Middle School in the Mt. Diablo Unified School District for three years. Prior to becoming a Principal, Campopiano was a Vice Principal, Common Core Instructional Coach, and Social Studies Teacher at Northgate High School in Walnut Creek. Campopiano founded Bronco Baseball Academy (www.BroncoBaseballAcademy.com) in 2001 and still owns and directs the youth baseball organization. The baseball academy offers week-long summer camps for kids between 5-12 years old, and has helped thousands of Bay Area youth baseball players improve their skills and develop a love for the game. Campopiano earned a Communication degree from Saint Mary’s College in 2003, and received his teaching credential from Chapman University in 2008. He attended Cal State University East Bay where he earned his Educational Leadership and Administration Credential in 2018, and Masters in Education in 2017. Campopiano lives in Lafayette with his wife Lauren and two kids.
