On Tuesday May 28th, all four of Orinda's elementary school campuses welcomed back their graduating senior alumni for the second annual Cap & Gown Parade! Seniors walked the halls of their elementary school alma maters (Del Rey, Glorietta, Sleepy Hollow, and Wagner Ranch) and showed off their graduation colors to their adoring TK-5th grade fans! Kindergartners lined the parade route wearing Miramonte Class of 2036 t-shirts, a gift from the Miramonte Parents' Club. Joyful (and tearful) families of seniors attended with cameras in hand.
An all inclusive event, non Miramonte seniors who attended Orinda elementary schools were included in the parade. Similarly, Miramonte seniors who did not attend an Orinda elementary school were invited to walk with their friends and be part of the fun.
The 2nd Annual Cap & Gown Parade was a collaborative production between the Miramonte High School Parents' Club and ONE.
